Prior to working as a presenter, Laura spent 4 years working behind the scenes as an Assistant Floor Manager. She got her first break in front of the camera in 2004, aptly cast as 'Melody' (with a love of music), in CITV's 'Fun Song Factory'. In 2006 she went on to become the female face of the kids channel Nickelodeon and covered many red carpet events and press junkets interviewing the likes of David De Rothschild, Gwen Stefani, Queen Latifah, Maroon 5 and Steven Spielberg. Laura also presented and wrote Nick Jnr's popular morning show 'Wake up World', she co-hosted 'Staraoke' for Cartoon Network, and was a guest presenter on GMTV's weekend show 'Toonattik'.
Laura does a great deal of charity work and is an Ambassador for 'REACH' The Association for Children with Upper Limb Deficiency, 'Wellchild' and also supports 'When you Wish Upon a Star' and 'The Children's Trust Tadworth'.
Laura is pretty experienced when it comes to property renovation and she loves interior design. She bought her first property at 19 years old (which was entirely self funded), and has been buying and renovating ever since. She is happy to 'muck in' on a building site, not just make tea for her team! And, with a passion for travel she has seen many parts of the world including most of Europe, East and West America, India, North Africa, UAE, Cuba, Maldives, Mauritus, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Fiji, Iceland and a fair bit of the Carribean.
As a keen writer, Laura regularly writes for 'A Place in the Sun' magazine and also reviews hotels for national publications. At the end of June 2013 she joined Hello Magazine as a 'Celebrity Blogger'.
